Sommer Johnson was driven by a strong conviction to break these boundaries. Thus, the birth of GEMINI MAGAZINE. Why the name Gemini? In an interview with her by curvy life styles in 2009, she cited that “… every woman had 2 sides, especially the curvy ones. People don’t see us the way they see the skinny minnies.” Of course Sommer is referring to the constellation Gemini also known as the “Twin” because of the two bright stars in it’s midst.
