Designer Sunny Fong has consistently used an eclectic set of models since the launching of his line VAWK, a leading Canadian luxury label. He has emphasized how significant diversity is because fashion is all about the satisfaction of consumers who are a people of diverse needs and wants that come from all walks – different body types, ethnicity, backgrounds, etc. All of them deserve a realistic representation.

Sunny made it again when he presented his first major Toronto runway show during the LG Fashion Week that featured his VAWK’s Fall 2011 Collection consisting of wearable creations of knits and furs paraded by a set of diverse models.
The crowd was awed with appreciation watching the show with plus size model Kathryn and 63 year-old model Helen walking down the runway. Both models are signed with the Ben Barry Agency, a Toronto-based modeling agency.
Nothing has kept Sunny from showing to the world that there is beauty in diversity. This world could have been a boring place to dwell in if we cannot appreciate the beauty of diversity.
