About Chicago Coalition For the Homeless
The mission of Chicago Coalition for the Homeless is to organize and advocate to prevent and end homelessness because they believe housing is a human right in a just society. For over 30 years CCH has offered outreach at family and adult shelters, transitional and interim housing, and single-room occupancy facilities. Each month CCH visits more than 30 facilities across Chicago, talking to people about their experiences with homelessness and making plans for how they can help these individuals make better lives for themselves. CCH leads strategic campaigns, community outreach, and public policy initiatives that target the lack of affordable housing in metropolitan Chicago & Illinois.
