Meet the Team Curvy

Plus size advocates and different groups continue to emerge to speak up, through different venues, for the plus sized community against the society’s unrealistic, unattainable view about beauty. In their advocacies, they are trying to break the notion that beauty is confined to a particular size. Just to mention one of them, credit and appreciation goes to the production team of The Curvy Revolution (TCR) Plus Size Convention 2011.
The production of The Curvy Revolution Convention is a collective effort of critically acclaimed PLUS SIZE WOMEN from different 
areas of mainstream entertainment. These entertainment professionals are curvy revolutionists who have bonded together for one great purpose, i.e. bringing the curvy revolution into greater heights as a leading force in taking the plus industry to the forefront, and to give a far-reaching representation of the growing number of full figured women in the USA and maybe across the globe. Although the vocal plus community is growing, there still remain a big number of silent and invisible full figured women that deserves to be heard.
The Curvy Revolution Convention creates an avenue to celebrate, embrace, and honor the real size women of today through fashion and empowering events and workshops. Likewise, it dedicates a special night to acknowledge and give honor to different charities, and the women who are making a difference in their communities.
Hereunder are some of the the curvy revolutionists who formed part of TCR’s production team:
Keke Dillard (Executive Producer) is an award winning celebrity event producer for such artists as Robin Robin Thicke, Erykah Badu, 50 Cent, etc. She is also creator of the nation’s largest size acceptance organization “Full Figures”.
Tangie Parker (Co-Producer) is a Detroit-based entrepreneur and fashion guru who’s fashion shows/productions have been featured in several national news sources
Huny Young (Co-Producer) is an internet icon, a Vibe Magazine’s former Interactive Art Director developing websites/marketing for such celebrities as Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, American Idol, and MTV’s Lala.
Shiana Gregory (Marketing/Advertising Director) is a celebrity publicist to such stars as Floyd Mayweather, NBA Player David West, and Terence Newman of the Dallas Cowboys.
Jessica Kane is a Publisher/Owner of Skorch Magazine, a virtual magazine dedicated to plus size women.
