Written by A local plus size group in New Orleans called the Classy Curves held a model search last October for their upcoming fashion show in December, the Classy Curves Second Annual “Diamonds and Curves Fashion Show”.
Rocking the runway are models size 12 and above and in a special performance, the show features Caren Green, a New Orlean’s native singer. What makes the show even more full of character, it will be hosted by Chenese Lewis, the Miss Plus America 2003, an actress, most sought after host, keynote speaker, expert commentator and plus size advocate.
Sponsored by Lane Bryant, Lil’s Fashion and more, the fashion show is inspired by a good cause. Apart from celebrating the full figured women, the show’s proceeds will be used to support in the fight against childhood obesity.
