Are you a plus size girl size 14-24 who dreams for a shot at modelling?

Curvaceous Boutique is currently seeking plus size models for the Lawrence Brothers Hair and Fashion Show Titled “NO BOUNDARIES” in Hampton, VA on November 20.

Model Call will be held on August 28th and Sept 18th from 3-7PM at Curvaceous Boutique. All candidates that are interested should come dressed in solid tank top, jeans, and at least 3’’ heels.

All ethnicities are welcome.

REQUIREMENTS

• $20 Casting Fee(non refundable)

• Dress Size 14-24

• Be able to Walk in heels, 3’’ or higher

• No Height or Weight Requirements

• No previous experience necessary

• Be coachable and have positive attitude

What a great night to look forward to for the curvy girls, the Fashion’s Night Out Plus at Olde Towne Alexandria, Virginia on September 8, 2011.

Fashion Night Out is the hottest international affair of the year for designers, vendors and boutiques. It is s a global initiative to promote retail, restore consumer confidence, and celebrate fashion, and boost the industry’s economy. In the US it is a collaborative effort between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York. The affair allows shoppers to update themselves with new items and designers through series of events and shows.

Fashion Night Out is in its third year in a row. Each year the celebration is bigger, more extravagant, more fabulous. For this year’s biggest fashion party across the globe, the plus size community has an event planned – the Fashion Night Out Plus 2011.

Stunningly beautiful plus size models Candice Huffine, Tara Lynn & Robyn Lawley rocked the internet when they posed for the cover of Vogue Italia’s Belle Vere. That shining moment for Robyn Lawley continues because from Vogue Italia’s June 2011 issue she is again on another Vogue feature, the August issue of Vogue Australia’s editorial called “Curve” with a tag-line “va-va-voom”.

Robyn is the very first non-straight model to appear on the glossy pages of Vogue Australia. Her photo shoots make a beautiful showcase of plus size fashion where she looks bold and beautiful in her fine figure clothed in fashions tailored by Australian designers Alex Perry, Willow and Carla Zampatti.

From the Stylite, Editor-In-Chief Kirstie Clements said in her editor’s letter:

“This is the first time Vogue Australia has shot a larger model and of course now that we have done it, I ask myself why we didn’t do it sooner. But that’s because Robyn is especially gorgeous. I went to the shoot to meet her and was transfixed by her beauty and poise. She is a truly super duper model. When a plus size model first turns up to the studio, she may be an anomaly to a team normally used to working with size 6’s, but once photographer Max Doyle started shooting Robyn, we quickly readjusted our preconceived notions of beauty. She doesn’t actually look plus size to me at all now. I said to a colleague on set later that day, “And men like curves don’t they?” He looked at me like I was an idiot. “Yes Kirsty, we certainly do” was his laconic reply. It’s an interesting conversation – the world of high fashion and fuller-figured women. One that needs to be continued”.

Robyn Lawley is a 22 year old Aussie beauty size 14 who lives in New York. She has graced the cover of Vogue Italia and French Elle and other countless editorials.
