It can be recalled that OneStopPlus.com had made a history when they produced  the OneStopPlus.com Model Emme at the Onestopplus.com Spring 2011 MBFW1 222x300 OneStopPlus Launching Their Fall 2011 CollectionSpring 2011 Fashion Show, the very first “plus-size-only runway show” that took place during the “Mercedes Benz/New York Fashion Week” last September 2010 featuring top plus size models such as the likes of Toccara Jones, Lizzie Miller, and Ashley Graham. Plus size icon Emme was also present at the occasion.

That was indeed a ground breaking moment for the plus size industry represented by One Stop Plus to gain access into the conventional fashion week that embraces sizeism.

Once more  OneStopPlus.com will produce next month another  fashion show in New York City that will showcase their Fall 2011 Collection. It will be aired  on the web on Thursday, February 17 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

Syndi Sayles Syndi Sayles Wins The Lane Bryant Model Search

Syndi Sayles is the winner of the “Be A Lane Bryant Runway Model Search”. This was the official announcement of  Lane Bryant’s Marketing Specialist Heather McGarry on the Plus Model Radio Show last Wednesday evening.

Almost 500 aspiring women from across the US have responded to the invitation to join the “Be A Lane Bryant Runway Model Search”. Entrants submitted videos showcasing their fiercest walk in their aspiration to walk down the runway at the Curvy Revolution in Las Vegas this February 2011 and the chance to become a Lane Bryant model. However, just like any other competition, only one could win. And this was no other than Syndi Sayles who is originally from New Orleans who now lives in Las Vegas.

With a great number of entries, I could just imagine how tough the competition was. CONGRATULATIONS Syndi!

Plus Size Model Casting Call Has Been Set For Kiss The Curves 2011

Plus Size Model Casting Call Has Been Set For Kiss The Curves 2011 Kiss the Curves has recently announced the model casting call for their Hollywood Kiss Fashion Week 2011, which is barely two months ahead of us. The casting is open to attractive plus size female runway models who must be healthy and in good physical shape, must have clear or unblemished skin (free from pimples and obvious scars), no tan lines, and excessive piercing or tattoos.

Aspiring models must be able to show their fearless walk to prove that they have what it takes to walk down the runway.

Aspiring models are required to attend an in-person casting even if they have already worked at the KTC past events. A parent or guardian must accompany those who are below 18 years of age.
