FORD PLUS MODEL CRYSTAL RENN
Ford Plus Model Crystal Renn in a recent “Interview Special” explains her position on size. From the comments below her YouTube video you can get a sense that some people felt like she was being somewhat hypocritical by climbing her way to fame by being a “Plus Model” then blame the presure of people and the media for expecting her to remain plus size. In her Interview she explains:
“I think the most important thing that we all need to know is whether you are a model or a normal person walking around, your an editor, your a photographer, your anybody out in the world, it’s about individual health. You cannot tell if someone’s healthy, where they are mentally from what’s going on on the outside, because health is differnt for everybody at differnt sizes.”
Renn also stated that if she gave into the pressures of those who would want her to stay plus size that she would have to have been guilty of another eating disorder. Some people may feel a bit slighted because she has been such a great plus size role model but I for one just wish for her health regardless of her size.
