Introducing The Winner of PLUS Model Magazine/City Chic Model Search

Nicole Esperanza was announced  winner of the recently launched PLUS Model Magazine/City Chic Plus Model Search.  She will be flown to NYC for a shoot with PLUS Model Magazine, and to model for City Chic website. She will also receive a one-year contract with Natural Models Management and an invitation to walk in the Full Figured Fashion Week this June 2011.

There were more than 500 hopefuls, but only one must win. With this great number of entries, the judges must have gone through a very careful process of narrowing them down into 17 finalist and eventually choosing one grand winner.

The second and third runner ups are Karyn Johnson and Kelle Coleman who will each receive a gift certificate from City Chic, the leading Australian plus size fashion brand.

Full Figured and Fabulous Plus Model Runway Competition Sets Second Audition

Full Figured and Fabulous Plus Model Runway Competition is expected to be Virginia’s largest runway showcase for plus size fashionistas, which shall be held during the celebration of ProjectCURVES Richmond. The competition is open to models sized 14-26 with competitive runway skills.

If you missed their auditions last Februay 26, you still have the chance to join because another round of auditions is set this weekend.

Auditions for the “Full Figured and Fabulous” Competition will be held:

The Curvy Collective is FFFWeek’s very own social media powerhouse composed of a network of leading fashion bloggers in the plus size community. It is created to grasp and facilitate dissemination through the net the latest news, updates and events exclusively for Full Figured Fashion Week. Full Figured And Fabulous FULL FIGURED AND FABULOUS Plus Model Runway Competition ReturnsBella Styles and Gwen DeVoe are pleased to announce the return of the FULL FIGURED AND FABULOUS, the Plus Model Runway Competition during the festivities of Project Curves Virginia.

If you are a model sized 14-22 and have a fierce runway walk, then this is the competition to join.  Held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Holiday Inn Express Downtown, Richmond, Virginia, here is your chance to flaunt your curves at the runway.
