Full Figured Fashion Week is a three-day international event consists of fashion shows, panel discussions, networking socials, and now, in partnership with Walking Curves, a health and fitness initiative devoted entirely to the curvy community. Walking Curves is an exciting addition to schedule of events this year at Full Figured Fashion Week presenting  The World’s Largest Fitness Class for Plus Size Women. Founded in 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia, Walking Curves is a plus size walking and fitness group, dedicated to the health, wellness and fitness of plus size women. Walking Curves™ is looking to create a sisterhood of women ready to challenge themselves, encourage other plus size women, create a safe place for their concerns and to be an advocate for overall good self-esteem and wholeness. Are you a plus size fashion lover and a faithful follower of all things related to FFFWeek? Have you retweeted and reposted FFFWeek’s announcements to your friends and family? In your inner circle, are you considered as someone who has a passion for fashion?

Would do almost anything to score a complimentary invitation to the FFFWeek red carpet and finale festivities? Would you like to network with the who’s who in the plus size fashion industry at FFFWeek? If you answered yes, YOU should enter FFFWeek’s BIGGEST FAN contest!

Contest Rules

  • Contest is open to women and men, age 21+
  • You may live anywhere within the U.S. and Canada. However, transportation to NYC is not included
  • You must submit a headshot of yourself. The file can be a JPG, GIF, or PNG and must be under 1MB in file size.
  • You must submit a 300 character explanation of why people should vote for you to be FFFWeek’s Biggest Fan
  • Entrance fee is $25.00, payable via Pay Pal

Prizes

  • Two VIP tix to the Red Carpet Reception and Runway Finale Event on Saturday, June 18th
  • One night’s accommodation at the Affinia Hotel (check in Saturday, June 18th, check out Sunday, June 19th)

Full Figured Fashion Week 2011 is fast coming your way. Here are the important events that make up that monumental celebration of curves and fashion set on June 16-18, 2011.

THURSDAY June 16th:

On THURSDAY June 16, you’ll enjoy an amazing Curves in the City Shopping Soiree Sample Sale where you can shop the racks of plus size designer clothing, large size shoes, accessories and novelty items, and check into the booths of vendors that offer products and services for the curvy consumer.  Click here to purchase tickets and for more info.

On the same day, Lane Bryant throws the world a curve with the inspiring Lane Bryant Blogger Conference. They seek to bring together top 50 full figure fashion bloggers to take part in this unique occasion that celebrates the collaboration of fashion and social media. Registration ends May 13, 2011. Thursday will end with an awesome “Curves At Sea” celebration that officially marks the grand opening of Full Figured Fashion Week on a 3-hour cruise around Manhattan while you enjoy music, networking and dancing aboard the Harbor Lights Yacht. Click here to purchase tickets and for more info.

FRIDAY June 17th:

Make the most of your time while at NYC. On FRIDAY, June 17 you are invited to join in the Full Figured Fashion Crawl, an escorted plus size shopping trip to New York’s boutiques and showrooms dedicated to plus size fashion.  Space is limited. Click here to purchase tickets and for more info.

Friday afternoon is devoted to a must attend panel discussion, The Pulse of the Plus Size Community hosted by comedienne Erica Watson and with great names in the line up of panellists. The panel discussion addresses the current state of the plus size community and the significance of Full Figured Fashion Week through the eyes of the leaders in the industry.
