To bombard the internet world with size positive messages, online plus size lingerie retailer AboutCurves.com initiates the launching of the first annual blogging charity campaign that promotes size-acceptance and self-acceptance of women across the globe. From August 8th to 21st , the campaign dubbed as “Lingerie Loves Your Curves” seeks participants from across the globe to blog topics about size-acceptance to combat industries that make money from women’s lack of self-esteem.

Queen Latifah is releasing her new clothing line called the Queen Collection at America’s Home Shopping Network on August 27th. Her line also include handbags and other accessories. The collection includes a wide range of sizes, but it will not be labeled as a “plus size” as what Queen Latifah wishes.

From Australia, Evie Foster is coming to New York to launch her debut collection “New York State of Mind” during the Full Figured Fashion Week on the 18th of June, to shoot her launch campaign, and to look for the face of Evie Foster. The designer aims to concentrate on the US market.

On the occasion of Full Figured Fashion Week NYC 2011, Lane Bryant presents the “Lane Bryant Blogger’s Conference on June 16th to bring 50 of the Web’s top full-figure fashion bloggers to celebrate the unique collaboration of fashion and social media. The conference is by invitation only, and only opens to 50 people.
