Seems to me they are on a political suicide mission when they totally ignore the people which makes me wonder, what do they know that we don't know. I've come to the conclusion that the government does not want us to be self-supporting citizens precisely so they can tell us what to eat, wear, drive and live. Government ran Health Care is precisely the vehicle that would give government control over every aspect of our lives and above all this is the reason I do not support it. You and I are probably alot alike, very independent, self supporting, responsible citizens and in our mind it's the right way to live. However, we are still looked at like we are sheeple by the elite and it's precisely our independence that makes us their primary target. It's hard for me to accept this but has become an inescapable conclusion. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! They place no emphasis on what the majority wants, and look out only for themselves and getting re-elected. People should be able to make good enough decisions about what they should and shouldn't eat, and be able to support their own health care. The only way the government should try to control what people eat is if that person is dependent financially on the government. Self-supporting citizens that can afford their own health care should NOT be treated like they cannot make their own choices based on what they believe is best for them.
