If you may have known or recall,  plus size model, actress and writer, Tracie Collins presented last February 6, 2010 an unparallel display of style, beauty and class through Kiss The Curves, the First Ever Plus Size Fashion Gala in the Bay Area.

‘Kiss the Curves’ was created and executive produced by Tracie Collins whose mission is to bring positive awareness to the plus community, showing that plus-size fashion has its own rightful place  in the world of fashion.

Fashion is not limited by dress size, rather it is defined, embraced and recognized.  This is what ‘Kiss the Curves’ fashion gala is trying to convey to mainstream fashion outlets.  Kiss The Curves fashion gala is geared towards celebrating and embracing beautiful, real sized women.

Tracie  said “Kiss The Curves was created out of necessity. This area is the third leading city in the nation for fashion and entertainment but local fashion shows rarely include fuller figures. There should be a better representation of plus-size women in this region since we make up more than half of the consumer population. Kiss the Curves will help jump start this local initiative.”

Following the success of the premier Kiss The Curves-Bay Area , where it had brought together some of the prominent plus-size Kiss The Curvesdesigners and retailers in the industry (such as IGIGI, JIBRI, Ashley Stewart, Tru Diva and many more),  Tracie Collins shall also bring to you next year, not just one but two fashion events that will again open doors to plus size models like herself.  The first one is  Kiss The CurvesHollywood Kiss Fashion Week on March 18-20, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Concourse Hall, 12011 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA.  This will be followed by Kiss the CurvesCarribean Kiss: A Luxury Get-Away on August 1st-8th, 2011 at St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Casino.

Please save the dates now.  For event details please visit the official website of Kiss The Curves.
